Klippfy Cookie Policy
Last updated: July 20, 2026
This policy explains what cookies and similar technologies Klippfy ("the Service") uses on klippfy.com, what we use them for, and how you can control them. It complements our Privacy Policy.
1. What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file stored in your browser when you visit a website. It's used to remember information about your session or your preferences on later visits. We also use browser local storage (localStorage) for equivalent purposes.
2. What cookies we use
| Type | Provider | Purpose | Consent required? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Essential / session | Klippfy (own) | Keeping your session logged in, remembering your authentication, preventing fraud (CSRF), load balancing. | No — necessary for the Service to function. |
| Preferences | Klippfy (own) | Remembering interface settings (for example, the chosen mode in the editor, language). | No — these are functional, not tracking. |
| Analytics | [TO COMPLETE: real name, e.g. PostHog / Plausible / Google Analytics] | Understanding, in aggregate, how the Service is used (pages visited, errors) to improve it. | Yes — only activated if you accept them in the consent banner. |
| Advertising (campaign measurement) | Meta (Facebook/Instagram), TikTok and/or Google Ads, only those enabled [TO COMPLETE: list the pixels actually enabled] | Knowing which ads brought visits, sign-ups and purchases (sign-up, checkout start and purchase events with the amount), and measuring and optimizing campaigns. The content of your videos is never sent. | Yes — only activated if you choose "Accept all" in the banner. |
| Payment | Paddle | Paddle may set its own cookies during the checkout process, per Paddle's cookie policy. | Managed by Paddle as an independent controller for that part of the process. |
Advertising and analytics cookies are optional: if you choose "Essentials only", Klippfy loads no ad-network scripts and sends them no browsing data. [TO COMPLETE if the analytics provider transfers data outside the EU/EEA: add the reference here to the Privacy Policy's international-transfers clause.]
3. How to manage your cookies
- The first time you visit klippfy.com you will see a consent banner where you can accept or reject analytics and advertising cookies.
- We ask for your consent again at least every 12 months, even if you didn't delete the consent cookie yourself, to make sure your choice is still current.
- You can change your choice at any time by deleting the consent cookie from your browser settings, which will make the banner appear again.
- You can also block or delete cookies directly from your browser settings. Keep in mind that blocking essential cookies may prevent you from logging in or using the Service properly.
4. Changes to this policy
If we make substantial changes to which cookies we use, we will indicate this by updating the date on this page and, if applicable, showing the consent banner again.
